Xolani Maphanga (born 22 June 1984) is a South African television personality and presenter. He is best known as the host of Moja Love’s hit reality-investigation show X-Repo and the flagship show Sizok’thola.

Early Life
Xolani Maphanga was born on 22 June 1984 in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, South Africa. His father was a polygamist with four wives, and he is the older brother of nine siblings. Growing up, he wanted to be a soldier.
Education
Maphanga attended Mangweni Primary School and completed at Masiqakaze Secondary School. He studied Information Technology at Stanford Business College.
Career
Maphanga started managing his father’s taxi fleet while studying at school. He later left because of the level of violence associated with the business, which his father ended up selling. He later started working as a security bouncer on Moja Love’s reality show, Uyajola 9/9.
Xolani has also appeared on the screens as the current presenter for X-Repo. On the show, he helps wronged people on a personal level, either by friends, ex-lovers, or family members. He works with a team of 18 to ensure that there is a new episode every week.
The show X-Repo is the first of its kind in South Africa. The American version, Operation Repo, focuses on the world of car repossessions. He also replaced murder-accused Xolani Khumalo as the presenter of the drug bust show Sizok’thola in 2024.
In 2025, Xolani was nominated for Best Male TV Personality at the 3rd annual National Film & TV Awards South Africa.
Personal Life
Xolani Maphanga is married with three boys. He is considering becoming a polygamist like his father. He survived an accident at home where he slipped, broke his leg, and nearly drowned before being saved by a neighbour in 2025.
Imanuweli Mzingeli joined Eyaziwa in 2026. He holds a degree in Political Science from a prestigious university. Outside of his storytelling work, he enjoys reading and video games.
