Nina Swart (born 2 October 1975) is a South African actress, television presenter, and director. She is best known for portraying Wilmien de Lange in the long-running soap opera 7de Laan.
Swart has been involved with casting from the start of Survivor South Africa, Boer Soek’ n Vrou, Temptation Island,Trap Dis My Huis!, and Op my Eish!

Early Life
Nina was born on 2 October 1975 in South Africa to her mother, Laetitia Swart. She grew up alongside her sister, Lise Swart.
Education
Swart obtained an honours bachelor’s degree in Drama from Stellenbosch University and graduated in 1998.
Career
Swart began acting on stage and has starred in several productions, including Lunch Girls in 1997, Electra in 1997, and Balle in 2004. She played Wilmien de Lange in SABC2’s long-running Afrikaans soap opera 7de Laan.
In 2005, she starred as Nina Jansen in the M-Net drama series Known Gods and played Gemma in the sci-fi series Charlie Jade. She appeared as Captain Lesley Stanford in seasons 3 and 4 of the drama Interrogation Room.
She portrayed a policewoman in the action-drama television series Transito. She served as the content director for the auditions on MasterChef South Africa in 2014. She has also worked on series like Survivor South Africa.
Swart hosted the Afrikaans comedy television show Proesstraat, and the weekly half-hour music show Pitstop, before handing over the role to her sister, Lise. She directed the drama series Tuiskoms, Boer Soek ’n Vrou, Temptation Island South Africa, and Plaasjapie.
Swart has also directed scripted and unscripted titles across Afrikaans-language productions including Fynskrif, Fraksie, Die Byl, Kelders Van Geheime, and Die Boekklub.
In 2026, Swart played Elzette in the kykNET soap opera Suidooster.
