Early Life
Kwanele Mthethwa was born on 23 May 1996 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. She moved to Johannesburg to pursue acting opportunities and immediately launched her professional career.
She attended and matriculated from Burnwood Secondary School.
Career
After completing secondary school, she landed the role of Ayanda on the Mzansi Magic telenovela Isithembiso. She also starred in the Mzansi Magic supernatural drama Indandatho Yokukhanya in 2020.
In 2021, Mthethwa appeared in the Showmax original film Umakoti Wethu as Nobuhle. She also played as Phumeza in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen and Boity in the Mzansi Magic drama series Abomama.
In 2021, she also starred as Khethiwe Shibe in the Showmax Original movie, Induku. She also portrayed Mbali, a guest role, in the 1Magic romantic comedy-drama series Entangled and starred in the Mzansi Magic movie, Umhlukanisi.
