Ayanda Ntanzi (born March 12, 1993) is a South African singer, worship leader, and legal practitioner. He is widely known for tor chart-topping gospel tracks like “Ngena” and “Nasempini.”
Ntanzi has dropped hit tracks like “Grace Upon Grace”, “Wena Jesu”, “Uyabathwala,” and “Basuka.” He has also released projects such as “Udumo”, “Priestly Worship”, and “Imvunge Yomusa: The Songs That Led Me To Christ”. He has also released his live recording “According To Grace: A One Man Show”.

Early Life
Ayanda Ntanzi was born March 12, 1993, in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. He grew up as an only child after his mother died when he was eight years old. His aunts and uncles then raised him.
He comes from a musically gifted household and began developing his singing talents at the age of 10. As a child, he sang alongside his family members, covering tracks by gospel acts like Imvuselelo Yase Natali, Amaphoyisa asoLundi, and Masibuye ku Jehova.
Education
Ntanzi attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
Career
Ntanzi entered the music industry in 2014 under the mentorship of gospel singer Nqubeko Mbatha. He was later invited to feature on the television program Gospel Classic.
In 2015, Ntanzi secured a recording contract with Koko Records and debuted with the album “Udumo”. The project earned a Best Newcomer nomination at the SABC Gospel Crown Awards.
In April 2017, Ntanzi recorded his highly praised live CD and DVD project, Priestly Worship, at the Durban Playhouse. The album featured the hit single “Nasempini,” which won the Best Praise Song category at the 2018 SABC Gospel Crown Awards.
In 2018, his career reached new heights when he shared the stage with gospel icon Benjamin Dube on the acclaimed Spirit of Praise show. Later in 2024, he dropped another live album titled “According To Grace: A One Man Show”.
Ntanzi founded Royal Priest Productions to support emerging talent and organise the annual Pietermaritzburg Pre-Easter festival.

Personal Life
Ntanzi married Gcina Zungu in a private ceremony and had a traditional umembeso celebration in 2026. He previously celebrated an umembeso ceremony with his previous partner, Saneh, in 2022.
Ayanda Ntanzi started dating Nelisiwe when they were in university. They later got engaged, but they broke up in 2019. He has one son.
Imanuweli Mzingeli joined Eyaziwa in 2026. He holds a degree in Political Science from a prestigious university. Outside of his storytelling work, he enjoys reading and video games.
