He has 10 siblings, including two younger siblings from his mother’s side named Abongwe and Owami. His mother also raised his older half-sister, Snenhlanhla (“Sne”).
Career

He also stars in the youth-focused spin-off, Izingane zeS’thembu, which features the five older children, Mpumelelo, Mpilo, Abongwe, Sne, and Lwandle.
Controversy
In 2026, his fiancée, Khwezi, revealed on Izingane zeS’thembu that she had her child through Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), a secret Lwandle kept from his family while failing to protect her from their attacks.
Lwandle’s mother, MaCele, had forced Khwezi to run a DNA test in previous episodes of the show. The results revealed that Lwandle was not the father, and the family pressured him to end the relationship. He refused and proposed to her anyway.
A heated argument about coming clean to his parents about how their baby was born forced them to choose between continuing with their engagement or calling it off. They called off their engagement, and Lwandle eventually collected his ring back.
Personal Life
Lwandle was engaged to his partner, Khwezi Mazibuko.
